Fishing at an altitude of 1,400 meters
In partnership with the AAPPMA – La Truite du Haut Doubs, the Métabief Montagnes du Jura fishing centre invites you to come and fish at an exceptional spot in the Jura Mountains.

Fishing is open at Lake Morond from 2 May to 30 November 2026
⛰️ Access
Accessible on foot only.
About 15 minutes’ walk from the summit of Morond (accessible via the Morond chairlift).
About 30 minutes’ walk from the Mont d’Or car park (drive towards Super Longevilles, then follow the signs for Lac du Morond).
💶 Prices
Daily fishing permit (available from the Métabief ski lift ticket offices on days when the Morond chairlift is open):
€15 for those aged 15 and over (4 catches)
€7 for those aged 14 and under (2 catches)
Buy a ski lift ticket at the Métabief ticket offices at the same time as your fishing permit and enjoy a special rate: €7.90 per person return (instead of €9.90)
Please comply with the regulations in force (maximum of 4 catches per day for those aged 15 and over / maximum of 2 catches per angler for those aged 14 and under, minimum size limit of 25 cm, ban on night fishing, ban on fishing for minnows, etc.), which will be subject to regular checks.
