Où pratiquer ?
1. If you’d rather go for a hike, you’ll need a relatively flat route.
For that, there’s nothing better than the Enduro Mythique trails, which are quite fun to ride.
There’s also the Mont Ramey Cross Country trail (No. 3), which crosses the Jura Mountains and passes through our resort.
Both options are accessible from the bottom of the resort.
In any case, do feel free to give it a go at our Jura Kid Park, which is open to all throughout the summer.
2. If you’re more into downhill riding...
We recommend you try our green trail: the Bike All.
With a 5 km descent and a 420 m drop, this gently sloping trail is fully signposted and suitable for beginners and very young children. It will allow you to explore the mountains and nature at your own pace on your mountain bike, winding through pastures and woodland.
Later on, you can try your hand at our seven other downhill trails, whether you’re into DH or enduro.
All our trails are accessible from the summit of Morond via the Morond chairlift or by climbing under your own steam ;)
Get ready
To make the most of your day out, remember to:
Plan your route in advance so you don’t get lost when you arrive at the resort. You can pick up a map of the slopes at the resort ticket office, or you can find one here.
Check the weather. Yes, riding in the mud has its charm, but to start with, it’s best to go for a nice, clear day and dry terrain 😉
Check the resort’s opening hours
Take a snack and a bottle of water
Take a mobile phone in case of an emergency (resort emergency number: 03 81 49 28 97 or 112)
Contact your favourite hire company to book your kit
Once you’re there, remember to take it easy on your first run; this will help you get to know the track and its features
And don’t forget to warm up before you start!
Your arrival in Métabief
That’s it, you’re ready, you’re in Métabief !
So first of all, welcome! The whole ski lift team is delighted to welcome you!
First and foremost, we recommend you head to our Jura Kid Park. In summer, the JKP (as we call it) is free for everyone! So it would be a shame not to make the most of it...
Various modules are available for you to test your mountain bike’s handling. This area allows you to build confidence on the pedals and test your kit before taking the plunge.
After that, if you fancy it, you can move on to the Enduro Mythique trails...
With a track width that’s wide enough for beginners, these trails are great for practising your line choice. And with their wooden banked bends and small jumps, the trails can also provide a bit of a thrill.
You are now approaching the upper part of the resort
You’ve decided to try out our downhill and enduro trails, so here’s a quick guide to ensure you get to the top safely.
