We do our utmost to ensure you can enjoy mountain biking in complete safety.
However, you inevitably have an active role to play when you’re out on the trails.
Here are a few rules and guidelines to follow for your own safety.
For all riding
Use a suitable mountain bike in perfect working order: tyres that are not worn and are properly inflated, effective brakes, a properly adjusted derailleur, etc.
Check the condition of your mountain bike before setting off
Carry a basic repair kit
Do not overestimate your abilities and control your speed
Respect other riders, keep a safe distance between you and remember that the rider coming from behind has right of way.
Take the time to familiarise yourself with the trails and features
Respect private property and cultivated areas
Do not disturb the animals
Bring a snack and water
Take your rubbish with you
