Being eco-friendly

Learn to observe nature and you’ll learn to appreciate and respect it.

The mountains belong to everyone, and nobody wants to walk through a rubbish tip, so do remember to make a few small eco-friendly gestures.

  • When you’re out walking, you often get peckish, but you’ll usually have a bin bag with you, so do remember to pick up your rubbish and packaging.

  • You may spot animals during your walks in the forest, so avoid getting too close: respect their privacy.

  • Remember to watch where you’re walking so as not to trample on the habitats of many plants and insects: stick to marked paths.
