Every summer, the Festival de la Paille brings Métabief to life with contemporary music in an exceptional natural setting in the heart of the Jura Mountains. A true cultural highlight of the Haut-Doubs region, it attracts thousands of festival-goers with an eclectic line-up blending rock, pop, reggae, electronic, rap and French chanson. A short climb… but a real slog: 1.5 km with 500 metres of elevation gain Whether you’re here to set a time, have a bit of fun or just test your legs: there’s a race for you The races: Piquemiette 500 (aged 16 and over), Mini Pique (aged 5–15, untimed, with progressive routes adapted to each age group), and the Pique en Fête (fun, untimed).
