Fishing at Morond lake

Fishing at an altitude of 1,400 meters

In partnership with the AAPPMA - La Truite du Haut Doubs, the resort invites you to come fishing at an exceptional location in the Jura Mountains.

Opening

Fishing is permitted at Lake Morond from 2 May to 30 November 2026

To reach the lake (on foot only):

  • Approximately 15 minutes from the summit of Morond (accessible via the Morond chairlift): purchase a chairlift ticket at the Métabief ticket office with your fishing licence and enjoy a discounted rate: €7.90 per person return (instead of €9.90)

  • Approximately 30 minutes from the Mont d’Or car park (follow signs for Super Longevilles by car, then follow the signs for Lac du Morond).

Prices

Daily fishing permit (available from the ticket office at Métabief on days when the resort is open):

  • €15 for those aged 15 and over (4 catches)

  • €7 for those aged 14 and under (2 catches)

Please comply with current regulations (maximum of 4 catches per day for those 15 and older / maximum of 2 catches per angler for those 14 and younger, minimum size of 25 cm, no night fishing, no minnow fishing, etc.), which will be subject to regular inspections.
